I am Maggie Bellemare, a Life Scout and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 6 in Middlebury and President of Crew 2 in Naugatuck, Connecticut. I have been involved in scouting my whole life, so I am very excited to finally be working on my own Eagle Project! I am one of the first female Eagle candidates in the Greater Waterbury area!! For my project, I am working with an organization called the Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, Inc.
Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, Inc. provides emergency shelter and free comprehensive support services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, Inc. is committed to ending violence and sexual assault by changing the social conditions and beliefs that perpetuate violence against women and children.
